Week 3: Intra Color Prejudice & The Lost Generations of Australia
What’s on tap for Black History 4 Young People this week?
9 July Intra Color Prejudice & The Lost Generations of Australia
One of the most destructive elements in our community, which began in slavery, is the dark skinned/light skinned split within, causing families and friends to be divisive against each other. We will get at the heart of this problem, and hopefully prevent it from happening within the families and friends of class members.
We will also look at the “Lost Generations” of Australia, and how being mixed caused thousands of children to be separated from their families. Remember, bring something to write with and write on to take notes. Part of our task is to sharpen academic skills.
