Week 6–Culmination Class–Parents are invited!

Black History 4 Young People 2012

Where has the summer gone so quickly?  Saturday is our 6th and final class and we have enjoyed getting to know the young people in class. For this last class the students’ parents and family members are invited, which is why we have moved it to the Ladera Community Center on 62nd and La Brea Ave. just south of Slauson. Please know we start promptly at 10 a.m. and dismiss at Noon.

We thank Ben Caldwell for the use of his KAOS Network Studios Leimert Park for the past 8 years.  He has other youth friendly classes there year round. We appreciate you, Brother Ben!

Our final class topics will be  “History of the Americas” for the parents and for the youth “Encouragement for Your Future.”  Certificates of completion will be awarded to students who have attended for the summer session.  As always, students who pay per class may attend as usual.
