Thanks for a very special semester, all! For the summer, the Youth Class–Black History 4 Young People just kicked off (For details Click Here)
Our next 11 week adult series titled Afrikan World Civilizations starts in the fall, September 18, 2009 at KAOS Network in Leimert Park. Liven up your Friday evenings! From 7-9 p.m. we delve in to the history of Afrikan people all over the world. It is fascinating to fill in the gaps previously left by disinterested history teachers of middle and high school.

Dr. Kwaku, I was priviliedged to learn of your youth classes, while listening to your radio interview on Sat. However, the dates and times,
are still unclear for me – I heard from June 13th – July 25th.
Since no location for these classes was given, I am asssuming, that they
are to be held at the Kaos in Leimert.
Also, from the radio, i understand the costs is $60.00, and the webpage
states 100.00. I am definitely interested, and have discussed with
family, the enrollment of one nephew – BUT, I need to know the times,
exact costs – and all pertinent information for participation by a 12 yr. old

Thank you for your message! Please know class starts at 10 a.m. although we arrive at 9:30 a.m. The location is 3333 W. 43rd Place, Los Angeles, CA 90008. (Near Crenshaw and Vernon across from Leimert Park) (You are right–Kaos) The students ages should be 12-18 (Give or take). The price of the summer series is $60 or $15 per class per student.
